Staff and Leadership

Please find below an introduction to our church leaders and staff members.


Minister - vacant		Rob Case
		Rob is a Deacon assisting the Treasurer as he has over 30 years of banking experience. He is married to Lou and they have 2 adult children. They moved from Stevenage to Bedford in 2011. After an initial period of rest following significant involvement in their previous church they found CEBC to be a friendly place to worship and become part of the fellowship. He is also involved with worship occasionally and is also involved in working with the young folk in the church and Messy Church. Rob loves all sports and still (just about) manages to play league badminton as well as enjoying social badminton with Lou and a number of the CEBC families. He is an Arsenal season ticket holder, which is a good way to enjoy time with his son Alex.


Matt Barber		Angela Stimson
Matt is our Worship Group Leader and Sunday Services Co‑ordinator. He is married to Nicki, and they have two grown‑up children in their 20s. Matt also leads our mid‑week homegroup and has a passion for discipleship, spiritual growth, and evangelism. He has lived in the village and been part of the church all his life. Matt has traced his family tree back to 1753, discovering that his ancestors lived in the neighbouring village—so he hasn’t travelled far! He works full‑time as a teacher and enjoys playing his guitar, riding his motorbike, and going for walks. He is also a fan of retro computers.		Angela is our Church Secretary. She is passionate about building a community locally, care of the elderly as well as the role of women in the church. Angela is also a keen gardener. Angela says "If you have a question please email me via our contact page and I will either get you an answer or put you in touch with the best person to help you".
