Sadly the current political and economic problems means that many Schools and Families cannot afford to supply their Children with the School material needed for them to have an effective education. This is particularly true of the villages on the eastern side of Gambia away from the relative wealth of Towns and the capital Banjul
We in our community have so much, what about Children in The Gambia? Cotton End Baptist Church are collecting much needed Schools Materials. We will ship the materials straight to the village leaders, starting at Demfaye Njagga (near Georgetown) and working our way east, where it will be given straight to the Children.
	Ideas of things we need are:- Pencils, Pens, Sharpeners, Rubbers, Exercise Books (preferably A4 or A5 size), Rulers or Set Squares, colouring Pencils, Protractors etc. Please ensure all items are of new, nearly new quality
